You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to manage the stress and emotions in your life. Anxiety, low mood, frustration, or burnout may be affecting your work, relationships, or sense of direction. You want relief, clarity, and better ways to cope, not just short-term fixes. More than anything, you want support that helps you understand what is happening internally and gives you tools to move forward with greater stability and confidence.
I provide counseling using evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy. Sessions focus on identifying unhelpful thought patterns, regulating emotions, and building practical coping skills. Treatment is structured, supportive, and tailored to your specific goals and life circumstances.
Starting counseling can feel uncertain or intimidating, especially if you are used to handling things on your own. You do not need to have everything figured out before you begin. Counseling offers a space to slow down, be heard, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
What to Expect:
If you're new to counseling, things start with a phone call. Give me a call and we'll chat about what's going and how I can help. If you decide to move forward, you'll get an email with a link to some paperwork. Similar to the kind of paperwork you'd fill out for a doctor's appointment, and you'll come in for your first session. The first session is an "Assessment" meant to gather more detailed information and create a plan to move forward. Then you'll move on to regular "Sessions." Each appointment lasts about an hour.
Cost
Your costs for counseling depend on the specifics of your insurance plan. Please call the number on the back of your insurance card to ask about your cost for mental health services. I am "in-network" with Aetna, Anthem (Blue Cross Blue Shield), Cigna (Evernorth), Medical Mutual, UHC, and some VA plans. Your costs could vary from $0 to $125. We won't know until you check your health insurance benefits. If you don't have insurance, the cost is $100 for the assessment and $75 for the following sessions.
